Riverside Wharf Miami

Driftwood Development Partners, LP (“DDP”), a subsidiary of Driftwood Capital, LLC (“Driftwood”), is pleased to offer accredited investors the opportunity to invest in the Riverside Wharf, a mixed-use development project in the heart of Downtown Miami.

As planned, the $250M development consists of two towers: the Hotel Tower housing a luxurious, 167-key Dream hotel with a rooftop pool & bar and the Entertainment Tower, which is expected to feature high-end restaurants, dynamic event venues, a high- end nightclub and rooftop day club. With over 600 feet of water frontage, Riverside Wharf is expected to also include a private marina to accommodate patrons arriving by boat or yacht.

Located in an “Opportunity Zone”, the development is expected to serve as a new landmark entertainment destination in Miami and is projected to deliver strong returns while offering potential tax benefits to investors deploying qualifying capital gains into the project.

Eliminate your capital gains taxes

Created by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, Opportunity Zones provide investors with the potential for strong returns and significant tax benefits. By investing in qualified opportunity funds (QOF), investors can defer paying capital gains taxes on prior investments until December 31, 2026, and may even avoid recognizing capital gains taxes on the QOF investment.

Tax Deferral

Defer your capital gains realized from a previous investment through the end of 2026 by reinvesting those capital gains into Driftwood Capital's QOZ Fund.

Tax Exemption

If the investment in the QOF is held for at least 10 years, the investor may avoid recognizing capital gains taxes on the investment in the QOF.
