Alexandra “Ally” Beguiristain

As Associate General Counsel, Alexandra “Ally” Beguiristain supports Driftwood Capital with legal oversight across corporate, transactional, and regulatory matters. She advises on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and compliance strategies, while also providing guidance on governance and contract negotiations.

Ally brings deep experience in corporate law and financial services. Most recently, she counseled clients at Carlton Fields, where she specialized in life and annuity products, regulatory compliance, and contract structuring. Prior to that, she played a key role at Brickell Insurance Holdings, managing private equity transactions and governance initiatives.

A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Florida, Ally earned both her Juris Doctor and her Bachelor of Science in Advertising with multiple academic honors. Her career foundation includes legal internships with Royal Caribbean and the University of Florida Office of Technology Licensing, where she developed a strong interest in the intersection of law, business, and innovation.
