Amol Shah

Amol Shah serves as Vice President of Acquisitions, where he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing hotel acquisition and development opportunities.

Prior to joining Driftwood Capital, Amol was Vice President of Acquisitions at Ashford, reporting directly to the CEOs of Ashford Hospitality Trust and Braemar Hotel & Resorts. Earlier in his career, he held several investment roles, including launching an M&A division at an Oak Hill Capital portfolio company, as well as positions at Orix Capital Partners and Highland Capital Management.

Amol holds a B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Outside of work, he enjoys playing pickleball, skiing, working to improve his golf game, and spending time with his wife and two young children.
