Daniel Katz

As Vice President in Asset Management, Dan Katz oversees the asset management for several of Driftwood Capital’s limited and full services assets. He also provides overall financial, strategic and disposition analyses for the firm. Dan previously worked for Brookwood Hotels (a platform company for Brookfield Asset Management) as a Senior Manager of Real Estate and Acquisitions tasked with growing a portfolio of extended-stay hotels. Prior to this role, Dan worked as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and PKF Consulting (now CBRE Hotels) to provide advisory services related to the full spectrum of hotel assets.

Dan grew up north of Boston, Massachusetts and has lived in Vermont, New York, Virginia, Maryland and Florida. He has a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and a Master’s of Real Estate from Georgetown University.

An avid skier, sailor and traveler, Dan lives with his wife (also a hotel asset manager) in Coral Gables, FL.
