Pranav Bhakta

As Vice President of Investment Operations, Pranav Bhakta serves as the COO's right-hand man across all verticals of Driftwood Capital. He oversees various teams and functions creating operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization leveraging technology and standard operating procedures to drive strategic initiatives.

Prior to arriving at Driftwood Capital, Pranav served as a Consultant to various hospitality companies from SCP Hotels and YourSpace hotels. He also served as Managing Director of Bhakta Capital - a BIG DATA driven hotel investment vehicle, which had a Programmatic Master JV with T2 Hospitality. Pranav’s specific expertise is in programmatic master JVs with institutional capital partners in Prop Co. and Op Co. structures with a tech advantage. He spent his early career as a Senior Advisor to the Trump Organization in their expansion into South Asia, an Advisor to multiple family offices in India, Singapore, and Africa aiming to grow hospitality exposure, and was also a VP with Molinaro Koger.

Pranav holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley in Urban Sociology and City Regional Planning with emphasis on Real Estate Finance & Development, and an MBA focused on Hospitality from Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland. When he is not in the office, you can find him traveling with his wife and Maltese, Zora. He also enjoys skiing, golfing, cooking and a good read.
